New platform for event organizers launched

Information Technology  (IT) solutions provider, Gigapp Technologies  Tuesday  announced the launch of Parteup.com, a digital platform that enables party or event organizers to plan, create, promote and sell tickets to their clients in real time.

The App will also allow party planners to live-stream their events to users on the platform to attract more attendees.

Parteup.com, powered by Gigapp, is the latest solution to be introduced as part of the company’s ongoing strategy to channel relevant solutions to address challenges faced by African businesses, especially after the disruption by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the impact on business has been unprecedented with multiple national and global events having been postponed or simply cancelled. On the flipside, the pandemic has forced the events industry to adopt a virtual model basically overnight. This digital rush has forced companies to show up and be more real with their audiences, break boundaries and provide more intimate access for consumers that’s unbounded by geography, and that is what Parteup.com is centered on,” says Emmanuel Nabuora, the Chief executive of Gigapp Technologies.

Event attendees can login on parte.com, search for parties within their locality and stream events in real-time. They can also order for any type of drinks online and have it delivered within minutes to their locality. The platform charges a small fee for party planners or event organizers to promote their gigs on the platform and doesn’t charge any fees for free events.
