FUEL PRICES SHOCKER: Fuel to retail at KES214.25 a litre, Diesel at KES 242.92

The revised prices will now see a litre of petrol retailing at KES214.25 and KES 242.92 in Nairobi, while kerosene prices remain unchanged at KES 152.78  per litre. 

Fuel prices in Kenya have risen sharply for the May 15 – June 14, 2026 cycle, according to the latest review by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).

Super Petrol increased by Ksh 16.65 per litre, while Diesel jumped by Ksh 46.29, driven by high global costs and exchange rate volatility. In Nairobi, new retail prices are Ksh 214.25 for Super Petrol and an all-time high of Ksh 242.92 for Diesel, while kerosene prices remain unchanged at KES 152.78  per litre.
