The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) have agreed to facilitate the establishment of a regional Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS).
An MOU was signed by URA, Commissioner General, Ms. Akol Doris and his Kenyan counterpart, Njiraini at the just concluded East African Revenue Authorities Commissioners General (EARACG) meeting, in Nairobi.
KRA’s John Njiraini said the MOU will facilitate the integration of a regional ECTS systems to provide real time tracking of the movement of goods under customs control along the Northern Corridor.
