Kenya’s Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Tuesday revised prices for petroleum products in its monthly exercise in which will see Kenyans from today pay slightly more at the pump following a marginal increase on super petrol, diesel and kerosene.
Super petrol will now retail at Sh101.05 up by Sh0.78 per litre, with diesel going up by Sh1.17 to retail at Sh90.44, while the price of kerosene has also gone by Sh0.77 to retail at Sh67.96 per litre.
ERC attributed the marginal rise to landed cost of imported super petrol which shot up by 2.23 per cent to US588.47. Diesel increased by 3.84 percent to US520 while kerosene rose by 3.45 percent to US542.27.
