The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) – an agency regulating and overseeing Kenya’s civil aviation industry- has embarked on an ambitious yet timely move aimed at digitising its operations as it seeks to eliminate duplication, improve efficiency, and provide applicants with a faster and seamless service experience.
The overhaul, according to KCAA, will include the introduction of a computer-based examination system designed to increase transparency and reliability in the licensing process.
The launch of its new online Personnel Licensing (PEL) system will allow applicants to submit and track their license applications digitally through the eCitizen platform. The upgraded system is designed to simplify the process, improve transparency, and provide users with the convenience of applying from anywhere, at any time.
