Online company, StatesDuka (Statesduka.com) is fast appealing to East African shoppers buying products from the US.

More so to Safaricom subscribers, StatesDuka is helping more customers with MPESA services make purchases in the United States of America (USA) on websites like Amazon, Ebay, BestBuy, Walmart and hundreds of other online retailers at the comfort of their homes using the service.

The service launched in Kenya last year and has since expanded to Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan.

The online platform offers air and ocean freight service to aspiring entrepreneurs, businesses, corporate clients and small business such as mitumba (second hand clothes) sellers, with the service also serving clients without credit cards or whose cards are not accepted by online retailers.

“Clients that fall in this category have to deposit the entire shopping total including shipping charges into our account in Kenya or via MPESA and then shop for them using our own credit card. Therefore, you can shop online on Ebay, Amazon or any US online retailer of your choice straight from your MPESA account at the comfort of your home.

Our hassle free fast shipping is unmatched in the region offering well-priced shipping charges for East African’s shopping on online US retailers like Amazon, EBay and hundreds of other popular US retailers,” said Ben Willis, the company’s Business director.
