The business community under the umbrella of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) has announced that it is developing a business COVID-19 action platform like other countries have done.
The action platform, which will be ready in the next two days, will have: a 24-hour call centre and portal to share business and workplace health-related information for all sectors and businesses sizes from Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to Multinationals.
KEPSA’s announcement about the web portal comes a day after Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta informed the country that the Corona Virus incident had escalated with two more cases.
The tool will provide guidance from public health officials as well as a framework on the economic impact of the virus and mitigation that KEPSA is collaborating with Government on.
The COVID-19 currently lists 168,835 as total confirmed cases globally, 84,558 active cases, 77,761 recovered cases and 6,516 deaths.
