The International Chamber of Commerce – Kenya Chamber (ICC Kenya) will Tuesday February 28, host a forum on E-mobility and Charging Infrastructure as well as officially launch the ICC Kenya Environment and Energy Commission.
Professionals, leaders and experts in the E-Mobility, Environment, and Energy sectors are expected to take part in the launch.
The theme of the event is ‘Towards Viable and Sustainable E-mobility Sector’. The discussion topics will cover various aspects of the e-mobility sector, including proposed interventions for growth in the local assembly industry, collaborative agreements on charging infrastructure, e-mobility power tariff structure, investments in the local assembly, and charging infrastructure, corporate examples in Kenya, and green financing opportunities.
ICC Kenya was established in 2019 under the hospices of Kenya Private sector Alliance (KEPSA) as the National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Kenya. ICC Kenya’s membership consists of business associations and corporate organizations from all sectors of the economy.
ICC Kenya aims to work closely with the ICC on policy advocacy on behalf of the Kenyan business community with international operations as well as linking members to the global business community thereby exposing them to an array of opportunities.
