EPRA raises fuel subsidies, pump prices unchanged

Super petrol up by Kes28.69, to retail at Kes 206.84 per litre

The surge has also seen increases of up to Kes 40 per litre for diesel and will now retail at Kes 206.84 per litre.

The cost of super petrol per litre has gone up by Kes28.69, driven by rising global costs and shipping charges.

According to the latest review by the  Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), the cost of the precious commodity will now retail at Kes 206.84 per litre, with the latest review taking effect tonight for the next 30 days when the regulator is expected to announce new prices.

EPRA review is expected to cause sharp rises in basic commodity prices, likely inflation spike and heightened cost of living for Kenyans.
