Epson Launches New Regional Company to Drive Growth in META-CWA Region

Epson aims to capitalize on its established network in the region to deliver high-quality technology across multiple categories, including visual displays, printing, scanning, lifestyle products, and manufacturing solutions.

Global technology leader Epson has established a new sales company aimed at enhancing its operations within the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central & West Asia (META-CWA) region.

This strategic move comes in response to significant sales growth, with the company’s education solutions portfolio seeing an increase of over 100% from FY2022 to FY2023.

Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, the newly formed regional division will be led by Neil Colquhoun, President of Epson META-CWA. Colquhoun’s extensive experience with the company, spanning more than a decade, positions him to spearhead initiatives that align with the region’s burgeoning market potential.

“The META-CWA region represents tremendous opportunity for Epson,” stated Colquhoun.

Our expansion here is not just about increasing sales; it’s about understanding local needs and providing innovative technology solutions that empower both consumers and businesses, all while promoting sustainability.

Epson aims to capitalize on its established network in the region to deliver high-quality technology across multiple categories, including visual displays, printing, scanning, lifestyle products, and manufacturing solutions.

The company will tailor its offerings to cater to a diverse customer base spanning various sectors such as healthcare, financial services, education, hospitality, construction, entertainment, retail, and tourism.

Reflecting on Epson’s ambitious vision, Colquhoun emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability.

“We are striving to achieve carbon negativity and phase out reliance on limited resources like metals and oil by 2050. Our goal is to support consumers in reducing their carbon footprint through sustainable technologies, and we have already invested in processes and initiatives to minimize our environmental impact.”

Epson’s organizational structure is designed to foster professional and business growth while embracing the region’s diversity. Its leadership team comprises individuals from eleven different nationalities, and nearly half of the management positions are held by women, underscoring the company’s dedication to inclusion and female empowerment.

Additionally, Epson META-CWA plans to roll out an Epson Graduate Program aimed at attracting and nurturing local talent, further solidifying its commitment to the community.

As Epson continues to expand its footprint in the META-CWA region, the company remains focused on leveraging innovation and sustainability to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
