Chandaria Industries has said the introduction of the 3-Ply tissue range into the local market has gained traction as consumer behaviour tilting towards to premium brand.
Firm Marketing Manager Daisy Wafula has attributed the success of the product to its multi-purpose use unlike the conventional tissue papers.
Speaking at the ongoing Kenya Manufacturing Summit and Expo at KICC, she said the product which can be used multiple hygiene purpose has recorded positive reception in the market just weeks after launch.
“The three layered tissues are 100 per cent virgin thus are ultra-soft, ultra-thick and ultra-strong. It means you use a small quantity for you hygiene use thus helping save cost,” she said.
Chandaria Industries says it has embarked on an aggressive marketing campaign as it seeks to shore up profit for the newly launched product.
