CA recognized for governance and ethics at the Champions of Governance Awards
At the awards, CA took home the Champion of Governance Award 2025 and the State
Corporations Award 2025.
David Mugonyi, EBS was recognized at the awards as the 1st runners up for the COG CEO of the Year Award 2025, while CS Lydia Sitienei, Director Legal Services and Corporation Secretary, was recognized with the Corporate Secretary of the Year Award 2025.
The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has been honoured at the 2025 Champions of Governance (CoG) Awards organized by the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) Kenya, in recognition of the Authority’s outstanding commitment to good governance, ethical leadership and institutional accountability.
The Champions of Governance Awards recognize institutions and individuals who demonstrate
outstanding corporate governance practices, ethical leadership, and adherence to regulatory and
accountability standards in Kenya.
An Avalanche of Awards
At the awards, CA took home the Champion of Governance Award 2025 and the State
Corporations Award 2025.
In recognition of the staff CA’s Director General Mr. David Mugonyi, EBS was recognized at the awards with the COG CEO of the Year Award 2025, while CS Lydia Sitienei, Director Legal Services and Corporation Secretary, was recognized with the Corporate Secretary of the Year Award 2025.
This recognition is a reflection of CA’s deliberate journey to entrench ethical leadership and
