Society Store opened its fourth branch in as it seeks to make a presence in the local retail market.
The new supermarket, known as Society Extra, has opened its doors in Naivasha, Nakuru County, as part of its rapid expansion plan and to further deepen its retail trade.
Speaking at the opening of the Sh120 million investment located along Mbaria Kaniu Road, the chief executive Trushar Khetia said he had identified gaps in the competitive retail sector which will adequately be addresses by Society Stores.
“There is a high demand for premium retail services without compromising the delicate combination of price, value and quality. We are offering that and more,” he said.
Society Extra covers 32,000 square feet floor area, and suitable furnished with wide array of products. Also the retail layout is distinct to enable pleasurable shopping experience.
“It is well thought off and as a team, we are always actively engaged to find out what is best for the consumer. We guarantee optimum satisfaction from the shoppers,” added Mr Khetia.
This marks another monumental step of the fantastic growth that has been achieved within one year since Society Stores was born.
The first store in Thika opened on November 2014 after buying out Leens Supermarket, followed by two additional stores in Maua and Meru which were opened in June and October 2015 respectively.
