Automaker Renault has renewed its Kangoo range for private motorists and business users.
The model’s new front end features Renault’s new styling identity, with the comfort of a city car and the capacity to run your business.
The Kangoo has received huge appreciation as a working vehicle, topping the European small-van charts for ten consecutive years and clocking up sales of over 1.4 million units.
Renault Kenya in keeping with the international trends, has unveiled the all-new Kangoo model for business users and private motorists. The new model aims to offer more comfort, outperforming its illustrious predecessor in design, ergonomics, reliability and respect for environment.
The new improved Renault express combines assertiveness, confidence and modern styling as some of its key unique features. Its cockpit is spacious and bright, with an advanced panoramic windscreen as you would find in a personal car.
The new Kangoo Express offers extensive and ingenious stowage on the dashboard, a ceiling rack, a central armrest and a large 15-litre closed glove compartment.
The vans market in Kenya has grown with the sale of 59 vans in 2014 to 115 vans from Jan – Nov 2015. Renault holds 6percent of this market and is looking to grow to 20 percent in the coming year. With worldwide sales totaling to about 2.3 million (over half for LCV versions), Kangoo has been an immense commercial success.
Renault Kenya Brand Manager, Jonathan Dos Santos says the new model has unmatched features compared to similar models in the market: the loading capacity is huge and its fuel consumption is incomparable.
“It is also designed with a flat floor that helps in carrying long loads as well as an innovative sliding roof trap to enable tall and bulky items to be carried. This will be the perfect car for business, farmers, manufactures, as well as for personal use” added Jonathan.
The new Renault Kangoo express is designed to be multipurpose to meet the needs of private motorists and the exacting business customer. It is customized to serve as a mobile office with multimedia connectivity and Bluetooth capabilities.
It can be used for heavy duty purposes with a pay load range from 650 to 800kg while with the fold-down passenger seat, the loading capacity increases to 3.5m3 and the useful length extends to 2.50m.
“In an age where we appreciate the habit of less spending and more saving, the Renault Kangoo is an ideal choice as it is economical to service and repair. Its oil change is annual, air filters go up to four years on the petrol engine and the timing belt gives service for at least six years,” said Simba Corp’s Chief Commercial Officer Paul Chaggar.
The new Kangoo Express has a wide range of conversions and can be transformed into a range of special purpose vehicles: delivery vehicle, ambulances, refrigerated van, call-out-vehicle and pick-up just to name a few.
Renault offers a wide range of accessories and interior fittings to meet specific needs of professional drivers who want vehicles that meet their requirements.
The new Kangoo Express model is also prefitted for quality conversion, with cable passage in the dash panel, engine power take –off, electric connections and much more.
