B2B E-commerce platform, Zandaux.com has unveiled its transformative approach to African business with a promise it says will help reshape the landscape of African trade by providing a “seamless One Stop trading platform for businesses to connect, collaborate, and thrive across the continent.”
Zandaux offers producers or wholesalers an online marketplace where they can connect with retailers, with its formal launch slated for December 13, 2023, marking a pivotal moment for the African business landscape.
“The platform’s transformative capabilities and unwavering commitment to sustainability and inclusivity promise to revolutionize African trade and foster unprecedented economic growth across the continent,” reads in part a statement from the company.
Adding that, unlike other solutions, Zandaux is positioning itself as a multi-vendor platform for manufacturers, producers, wholesalers, distributors, suppliers, importers and exporters to directly sell their market offerings to their customers at their price.
Vendors open their digital stores by signing up with us, listing their product catalogues, setting their minimum order quantity (MOO) per product as well as the unit price, and indicating which country or countries they would like to target. They then set their payment recipient accounts – largely through the use of mobile money and bank accounts.
Inaugurated in March, the e-business platform has since onboarded close to 500 manufacturers and other players selling goods in bulk.
The simultaneous launch in three key African markets namely; Nairobi, Johannesburg, and Lagos are also expected to mark a significant milestone for the company and the African business ecosystem.
“Driven by a mission to empower one billion people, Zandaux.com offers African suppliers an unparalleled opportunity to operate within the entire African market.
The platform’s innovative features and commitment to sustainability and inclusivity position it as a catalyst for economic growth and prosperity across Africa,” noted Zandaux.com’s CTO, Dennis Reumer, who showcased the company’s cutting-edge multi-vendor platform, designed to streamline and enhance B2B transactions across Africa.
“For now, we are indeed focusing only on bringing the entire Kenyan B2B market online where retailers can source supply at factory, producer or wholesale price,” said Franck Obambi-Ngatse, the chief executive of Zandaux Kenya Ltd in an earlier interview.
