StarTimes partners with Safaricom to broadcast Afcon matches

Safaricom Plc and Star Times, have partnered to offer football enthusiasts across the country a worry-free viewing experience of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023, right from their mobile devices.
Safaricom has introduced data bundles specifically tailored for AFCON viewers, ensuring endless and steady streaming of the matches.
These include 1.5GB valid for 3 hours at Kes. 50, and 1GB of data valid for 24hrs at Kes. 99, giving a full day access to the ‘Star Times ON Mobile App’. Additional data bundles include 1.5GB valid for 7 days at Kes. 199 and 2GB valid for a month at Kes. 299.
Star Times on the other hand will ensure that all the AFCON games are streamed live on their ‘Star Times ON Mobile App’, making it easier for fans to catch every moment of the tournament and stay connected to the action wherever they are.
This partnership will ensure unlimited internet connections, and All-access to the matches and other interesting content at a click of a button on a smartphone.

AFCON is Africa’s biggest football festival. This year`s edition is being hosted by Côte d’Ivoire in west Africa with 24 African national teams battling to crowned Kings of the continent. It will culminate in its final match on 11 February 2024.
