Siginon Aviation has announced the appointment of Maarten Klinjstra as the new General Manager. Maarten, a South African joins Siginon Group, having been previously stationed as the Regional Director, Cargo Sales of Martinair Cargo in South Africa.
He will oversee the general management of all Siginon Aviation operations at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Eldoret International Airport in Kenya.
As a seasoned aviation and air cargo industry professional with diverse experience in international stations notably Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria he has also provided regional oversight in strategic African markets such as DR Congo, Zambia, Ethiopia and Nigeria.
