FX Champions – a global forex market information resource company, Friday launched its FX Academy, a forex education training portal built by traders for traders.
The FX Academy by FX Champions will also focus on training for new and seasoned traders, with a wide range of training materials on the new site.
Founded by a seasoned forex industry expert David Manzi also known as Kafuri, the new FX Academy provides free interactive, individualized training for Forex traders of all experience levels with a wide range of educational materials and realistic learning simulations based on actual market conditions.
The foreign exchange market, commonly referred to as the Forex or FX, is the global marketplace for the trading of one nation’s currency for another.
Explaining the initiative at the event’s launch, Manzi said that the company founded in 2022, will offer both day and evening classes, catering to the diverse schedules of aspiring traders with classes being held physically and virtually.
“We aim to engage everyone who is interested in forex trading be it on a part time basis or as an alternative source of income. We are committed to transparency and dedicated to financial education, as we are poised to become a significant player in the region’s financial markets,” he said at the firm’s forex trading head office at Hazina Trade Centre.
Further adding that, the launch will mark a significant milestone in the pursuit of financial knowledge and empowerment and is set to revolutionize the Forex trading landscape by providing individuals with quality education, expert instructors, and a vibrant community of traders.
The learning approach at the FX Champions is structured to suit the participants own pace – normally a maximum period of two months, with a fully interactive platform – including a range of courses complete with videos, quizzes and trade simulators with continual assessment and feedback to guarantee steady progression through knowledge levels from beginner to expert.
For traders wishing to delve even deeper, Kafuri says, recommended reading lists are provided with future plans to expand the brand outside Nairobi within the next two years.
It will also support traders with varied expertise levels who wish to enhance their skills and to learn the optimal methods to maximise their revenues from this environment.
Having being in operations informally before today’s launch, the firm says its target will be to surpass last year’s achievement when it trained over 10,000 FX traders. Such trainings target all interested professionals between the ages of 20 and 35 years with tuition fees overlaid at Sh20, 000 for online classes and Sh30, 000 for physical trainings.
The FX Champions framework will also be structured to provide all the resources required to evolve into an expert trader – ranging from core competencies of understanding macro market forces and the basics of technical analysis to trading psychology to more complex FX trading concepts and strategies.
The platform also provides a solid grounding in the understanding of risk management and the responsible use of leverage – all uniquely provided by a totally independent training facility not aligned with any brokerage and without the requirement to invest real funds.
The foreign exchange market is a global decentralized or over-the-counter market for the trading of currencies. This market determines foreign exchange rates for every currency. It includes all aspects of buying, selling and exchanging currencies at current or determined prices.
