Mwananchi wins 2022 Pacesetter Reliable Lending Solutions award

Mwananchi Credit has been recognized as a Pacesetter in Reliable Lending Solutions 2022 at the 3rd Annual Pacesetter Awards held last week in Nairobi, by the Jubilant Stewards of Africa.

The Award is in recognition of the lender’s leadership in structuring customized credit facilities targeting individuals and SMEs in the country.

Known primarily as a logbook loan lender, Mwananchi Credit has over time morphed itself successfully into an umbrella credit firm offering a wide array of financial solutions and diversifying the collateral required for the loans acquired.

The lender now offers loans pegged on title deeds , salaries, postdated cheques as well as offering trade finance solutions ( like Letters of credit , Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds and Advance Payment
Guarantees).

Speaking during the event, Jubilant Stewards of Africa Executive Director Jared Oundo noted
that , Mwananchi Credit was specifically recognized because of its innovativeness and ability
to quickly adapt to market needs.

“At Mwananchi, we do not set up to become neither a pacesetter nor an innovator. We simply set our eyes on serving our clients financial needs effectively. If in doing that, we find ourselves being recognized by our peers, we can only be gracious and thank all our clients, without whom , we would not be standing here today,” commented the firm’s Sales and Marketing Supervisor Gladys Kanyiva.

Mwananchi Credit has previously been awarded as the Best Logbook Lender in Kenya for 4
consecutive years and the Best Title Deed Lender for the last 2 years by different entities.
