Mizizi Africa Homes has bagged two prestigious property awards to sustain a three-year winning streak as the best and most trusted low-cost housing developer in Kenya.
The developer won the Starbrands East Africa 2023-2024 awards for ‘The Most Reliable Real Estate Developer in Low Cost Housing in Kenya’ and emerged ‘Best Affordable Housing Developers in 2023 in the Real Estate 100 Awards 2023.
Mizizi Africa Homes Chief Executive Officer, George Mburu said, “We are truly excited that our industry experts have consistently shared their appreciation on the work we have been doing over the last three years.”
According to Mburu, these awards recognise Mizizi’s strong commitment to offer innovative homes and investment solutions that are pocket friendly, high quality and timely.
Similarly, they are a reflection to the developer’s sustained customer dedication, while contributing to the government’s affordable housing Agenda and growth of real estate in Kenya.

Earlier in the year, Mizizi introduced a new business concept that allows its current and prospective clients to buy land from the real estate firm and then develop customized units for them.
The ‘Buy, We Build,’ model set to go into full implementation starting 2024, expands the real estate developer’s portfolio to include sale of fully serviced prime plots with a goal of making it even easier for most Kenyans to own modern and affordable homes.
