In its strategic plan for 2023-27, the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has set out an ambitious blueprint for the next five years to achieve better outcomes for consumers and markets.
Dubbed, Digital Access To All, the plan which runs through to mid 2028 further aims to address tithering issues like cyber crimes and abuse of data and consumer privacy information.
Speaking during the firm’s luanch in Nairobi, CA’s Director General further reiterated that the strategy will also aim to bridge the digital divide while a keen eye on emerging technological advances like the Artificial Intelligence (AI).
CA will spend about Kes88.6billion to see through the plan with an estimated Kes117.4Billion revenue upon fruition if its ambitious blueprint yet.
