The East African Business Council and Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) will unveil the Academic Public-Private Partnership Forum on Wednesday 20th of April 2022
The Academic-Public-Private Partnership Forum will bring together top-notch CEOs, innovators, academia, and senior government officials to strategize, deliberate, and reinforce partnerships to promote Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) as an essential ingredient in driving industrialization and sustainable development in the EAC. The Academic-Public-Private Partnership Forum will be graced by the East African Community (EAC) Secretary-General, Arusha Regional Commissioner, NM-AIST Vice-Chancellor.
The Academic Public-Private Partnership Forum will have exhibitions and B2B sessions to showcase innovations ready for commercialization. The companies will have a chance to book for B2B session with innovators and incubators.
The Forum will deliberate on strategies set to enhance linkages between academia, research institutions & public and private sector enterprises, and internship placements for university graduates in a bid to boost skills, innovation and intra-EAC trade growth and competitiveness.
The Academic-Public-Private Partnership Forum will showcase more than 20 innovations from academia ready for commercialization.
The Academic-Public-Private Partnership Forum is organized with support from the African Development Bank, WISE- Futures, Hanspaul Industries Limited, E-Motion Africa Ltd, Centre for Research, Agricultural Advancement, Confederation of Tanzania Industries and Tanzania Horticultural Association.
